They need to improve the ease of charging on these. It's one thing to slide back a port cover and plug in a USB cable, as you do with a MicroStream flashlight. It's another to have to unscrew the front cover, slide the battery out, and plug a cable into that, then slip a charged battery back into the light and screw the front cover back on.

I have an original import, runs like a top. I was thinking about buying one of these new releases for carry… surprised to hear about all the failures to feed. They do need lube and about 500 rounds to break in. The original ran clean straight out of the box through all 500 rounds.

The the screw on the right hand side that Holosun provided is too long, and it's touching against the extractor. You need a shorter screw

So considering the price, I would have to say the o light is the winner.

Thank you for covering the driving portion of appendix carry. That’s the part some other RUclipsrs leave out. I am big guy and I have been thinking about moving from my traditional 3 o’clock position to appendix, and you sir, have given me a lot to think about.

I own surefire lights, but 90% of my rifles run a streamlight with a arisaka adapter and a surefire pressure switch. Save the money and get a streamlight and run the adapter and surefire pressure switch.

No comparison, the LT in 300 Blackout worth the money compared to the Jackal there are so many things in the Jackal that's out of Speck it's pathetic.... watch Focus trip he'll tell you

I have been running the TLR-7a for years now, and honestly this has impressed me enough to upgrade. Especially since it will give me slight standoff with the muzzle of my conceal carry pistol.

Ive had the olight pl pro valkyrie for years now ive carried it around in my pocket for 2 years as my edc light off the pistol on Bald head island in the most humid hot climate imaginable still habe it today works great thats 5 years now

Oh; by the way, they don't like Fiocchi ammo AT ALL. If you look through the packaging, it gives you a break in procedure regarding when to lube, when not to lube, when to clean, when not to clean, and it's like a 500 round period. I have a strike one speed and I have since bought an Ergal. When I followed the procedure THINGS WORK FINE.

Further, LUBE THE DAMN PISTOL!! If you complain about malfunctions and you're not lubing it, clearly you're not qualified to be a reviewer.

Modlite does not interest me at all honestly. SF/Streamlight for pistols, CD for rifles. If CD would release the freaking EPL already they’d probably replace my SF/Streamlights too…

Wow I feel absolutely robbed. I was rocking the new surefire XR1 that nobody was really paying attention to. It was insanely strong. Now this comes out.

Cmon Really????? I probably could have told you SL was going to win this before it started. I have used a OL J Tac and the flood was good, but I can punch out to distance. Not sure video camera's do lights justice. I walked around my house at night with no lights with the OL J Tac and my garage and had no problem with the flood. It has 1000 lumens and reported 88000 CD and we just saw it was actually 1200/100,000. That is Cloud Defensive range. The SL was good out to 50 yards they said. This was on a rifle right? Not a sling shot. I have used an SL as well and couldnt break photonic barrier or PID anything at any kind of distance. I have watched two of these videos and the bigger name brand has won out on both despite other lights being superior. Going by what was tested give me 1200 lumens and 100,000 candela all day long over 2500 lumens and 17,000 candela. I mean is that even really a question? I have no brand loyalty as I will always go with the better product but we have seen SF 300 Turbo beat out the OL PL Turbo when it clearly was the lesser product and now SL beat out OL when it wasnt even in the same vicinity. I am not a fan boy of OL, but to me OL won out on both of these videos but because its OL - it didnt. Remove the brand name of all the lights on both videos - who wins? I like the charts and information for my own assessment but the summations have made no sense to me.
